Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the VEXORLI app (“VEXORLI”, “the app”, “we”) handles information when you use our offline-first storage manager and cleaner. It is written for the product as shipped, not as a generic template.
1. Who we are
VEXORLI helps you see where your phone storage goes, find large, duplicate, or similar photos and videos, screenshots, blurry or old media, and empty files — then delete only what you choose, after you review and confirm.
2. Core privacy model
- Offline First. Scanning and analysis run on your device.
- No uploads of your media. Photos, videos, audio, and other files are not uploaded to VEXORLI servers.
- No VEXORLI account. You do not create a username or profile with us.
- No ads in this version.
- We do not sell personal data.
- No mandatory cloud. Cloud sync is not required to use the app.
3. Information processed on your device
To provide the product, VEXORLI may process on-device:
- Media library items you allow access to (photos, videos, audio), including size, dimensions, dates, paths/titles exposed by the OS, and local technical fingerprints (for example hashes used to find duplicates or similar photos).
- Device storage totals (used / free / total) shown on the dashboard.
- Your selections, scan results, cleaning history, theme/language preferences, and local Pro entitlement state, stored in an on-device database.
This processing stays on the device for app functionality. VEXORLI does not operate a backend that receives your media files.
4. Permissions
Photo / video / audio (media library) permissions are requested only so VEXORLI can list, analyze, and—when you confirm—delete items using the official system delete flow. Access is not used for advertising or selling data.
5. Deletion
Cleaning is never automatic. Files are deleted only after you select them, confirm in the app, and (where required) confirm again in the Android or iOS system sheet.
6. VEXORLI Pro and payments
VEXORLI Pro is a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase that unlocks cleaning and paid features permanently. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing or Apple App Store / StoreKit. VEXORLI does not receive or store your bank card numbers. The app may keep a local entitlement flag and purchase event metadata (such as product id / transaction id) on the device so Pro can be restored.
7. Third-party libraries (as shipped)
Based on the current app dependencies, VEXORLI does not include analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or social tracking SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or similar in the app’s declared dependencies).
Relevant libraries include:
- photo_manager — on-device media library access.
- permission_handler — permission prompts / settings.
- sqflite / path_provider — local database and paths.
- in_app_purchase — StoreKit / Google Play Billing for VEXORLI Pro.
- image / crypto — on-device image analysis and hashing.
Google Play and Apple may process purchase-related data under their own terms when you buy or restore Pro. That processing is controlled by those platforms, not by a VEXORLI server.
8. Children
VEXORLI is a general-audience utility, not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a VEXORLI account or backend. Parents who believe a child provided information to Google or Apple through a store purchase should use the store’s support channels.
9. Data retention and your controls
- On-device scan cache, settings, and purchase logs remain until you clear app data or uninstall.
- You can revoke media permissions in system settings; scanning and cleaning then stop working until access is granted again.
- Uninstalling removes local VEXORLI data on that device. Store purchases can usually be restored with Restore Purchases.
10. International users
Because analysis is on-device, your media is not sent to VEXORLI for processing in another country. Store purchase flows follow Google’s or Apple’s regional handling.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product changes. The effective date above will be revised. Material changes should be reflected in the published page before or when the related app update ships.
