PRIVACY POLICY
Contixo by Tangleon LLC ("the App") is published by Tangleon LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Tangleon LLC handles information when you use the App on Android and iOS.
All contacts are processed locally on your device. Tangleon LLC does not upload, store, collect, or access your contacts on its servers.
1. Summary
Contixo is designed to work primarily offline. Your contact list is read, processed, and stored on your device. Tangleon LLC does not upload, sync, or store your contacts on its servers.
2. Information processed on your device
With your permission, the App accesses contacts stored on your device to let you view, search, filter, clean, analyze, import, export, back up locally, and share them when you choose. Undo and operation history data are also stored locally on your device.
3. Account sign-in (Android)
On Android, Google Sign-In is optional. You may sign in with Google so the App can identify your session on that device for account authentication only. When you sign in, the App receives basic account information from Google/Firebase Authentication such as your user ID, email address, display name, and profile photo URL. This information is saved locally on your device to restore your session. Your contacts are not shared with Google or Tangleon LLC. Tangleon LLC does not use Firebase to store your contacts and does not enable Firebase Analytics, Firestore, Cloud Storage, or cloud backup of App data in this App.
4. Purchases
If you buy Contixo PRO on Android, all payments are processed by Google Play. Tangleon LLC does not receive, process, or store your payment card details or other payment information. On iOS, purchases are processed by the App Store. The App receives purchase status from the store so it can unlock PRO features on your device. Tangleon LLC does not receive your full payment card details or other payment information.
5. App settings
Language, theme, onboarding status, permission explanation status, PRO status, and signed-in account details (on Android) are stored locally using on-device storage such as SharedPreferences and Hive.
6. Internet use
The App uses the internet only for purposes you initiate or that are required for core features, including optional Google Sign-In on Android, in-app purchases, restore purchases, opening our legal pages in your browser if you choose, and sharing/exporting files through your device share sheet.
7. Data we do not collect
Tangleon LLC does not collect your contact list on its servers. Tangleon LLC does not sell your personal information. Tangleon LLC does not use your contacts for advertising profiles.
8. Data retention and deletion
Contact changes made through the App remain in your device contacts database according to your actions. Local App data such as undo backups, preferences, and sign-in session data remain on your device until you clear App storage, uninstall the App, or sign out (for account data on Android).
9. Permissions
Contacts access is requested so the App can function. You can deny or revoke permission in your device settings, but contact features will not work without it.
10. Third-party services
The App may rely on platform and service providers including Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication (Android sign-in only), Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchase, and your device share/export services. Their handling of data is also governed by their own policies.
11. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Tangleon LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. Because contact processing happens on your device, you can delete contact data using the App and your device settings. For account sign-in data on Android, you can sign out in Settings.
13. International users
If you use the App outside your home country, you agree that local device processing and store-provider processing may involve transfers handled by Google, Apple, and your device platform under their terms.
14. Changes to this policy
Tangleon LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
